Thank you for your interest in becoming a Spartan for the 2024-25 season. Tryouts for our competitive teams will be held according to LSA guidelines. We have announced player placement dates for U11-U14 teams (birth years 2014-2012) to be held April 19-26 and U14-U19 teams (birth years 2011 through 2006), which will be held May 28-June 5. See the information below for more details.

All tryouts will take place in City Park at Tad Gormley Stadium in City Park (5400 Stadium Drive, New Orleans, 70124) or Pan American Stadium    (1 Zachary Taylor Dr., New Orleans, 70124).

The NO Spartans FC Tryout dates for U11-U13 players born in 2014, 2013 and 2012 will be held:

 Friday, April 19, 5:30-7:00 PM at Tad Gormley Stadium
 Monday, April 22, 5:30-7:00 PM at Tad Gormley Stadium                                                                                                                               Friday, April 26, 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM at Pan American Stadium

The NO Spartans FC Tryout dates for U14-U19 players born between 2011 and 2006 will be held:

 Tuesday, May 28, 5:30-7:00 PM at Tad Gormley Stadium
 Wednesday, May 29, 5:30-7:00 PM at Tad Gormley Stadium                                                                                                                           Thursday, May 30, 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM at Tad Gormley Stadium                                                                                                                       Wednesday, June 5, 5:30-7:00 PM at Tad Gormley Stadium

N.O. Spartans FC age groups for the 2024-2025 season and their tryout time slots:

10U and under (YDP) [birth year 2015 and 2016]) –  No Tryout Required.  If you are interested in
the NOSFC YDP Ballers Program (U10 and under), the Ballers YDP registration for the fall
season will open later this spring. This will be an open registration but will close as soon
as all roster slots are taken. Stay tuned for potential Open House sessions this summer
to meet our coaches and check out our program.

All players attending tryouts MUST pre-register online here . This allows our club to retain player information
and parent contact details to notify prospective players whether they will be invited to join a team                                                        for the 2024-2025 season. There is no cost to register or tryout for the NOSFC, but you must register to be evaluated.

Per LSA policy, Clubs may not contact, solicit, recruit or extend an invitation to any player during
the Tryout Period. At the conclusion of each Tryout Period the Invitation Period shall begin. It is
during the Invitation Period that clubs may contact players and extend them an offer to play for
one of their teams.
